How exactly is my commission calculated?
You earn 60% of Stailonga's platform revenue on each completed booking. A family of 4 booking a 14-night beach holiday for $5,500 earns you $297 in commission from that single booking. Shorter stays and solo trips earn proportionally less, while luxury bookings earn significantly more.
When do I get paid?
Commissions are calculated and paid 2 months after a booking materialises. This 60-day window accounts for cancellations and disputes. For example, a booking made in January is paid out in March. Payments are sent via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer.
What counts as a conversion?
A completed hotel booking made through your tracking link within the 30-day cookie window. If a user clicks your link and books within 30 days on any device, the commission is yours.
Can I promote Stailonga on social media, YouTube, and my blog simultaneously?
Yes. You can promote on any channel you own. The same tracking link works everywhere. We do not restrict which platforms you use.
What if someone clicks my link but books later on their phone?
Cross-device tracking is handled by our platform. As long as the user is logged into Stailonga, late bookings are attributed correctly. For users who are not logged in, the cookie covers same-device bookings within 30 days.
Is there a minimum audience size to join?
No. We evaluate applications based on relevance and quality of the audience, not size. A niche newsletter of 2,000 highly engaged travel readers is more valuable to us than a general blog with 100,000 monthly visitors.
What is the two-tier referral bonus?
If you refer another content creator to the Stailonga affiliate programme and they are approved, you earn 5% of their commissions for the first 12 months of their membership. This is on top of your own commissions.
What happens after the founding partner window closes?
After 5,000 founding partners are accepted, new applicants enter our standard tiered programme. Standard rates range from 25% to 40% depending on monthly booking volume, compared to the 60% founding rate. We also run periodic commission sprint events where rates can reach 50% or higher for limited periods. Founding partners receive priority access to all sprint events.
What is a commission sprint event?
Sprint events are time-limited periods where we increase commission rates to 50% or above. We run these to reward active partners and align with peak travel seasons. Founding partners are notified first and enjoy longer sprint windows than standard partners. Dates are announced in the partner Slack channel and by email.
